For many, when we say mother we think of a physical representation of the idea. For each one of us, this is different. Mother could mean the earth, or a sister, or a friend, or maybe even our birth mothers. But Mother is also a verb. To mother implies an action of some sort: to nurture, love, create, hold, and protect 💕—and this is where the real juiciness of the Mother archetype is unveiled for in the energy ⚡ of the Mother within all of us is the foundation for exponential growth.

The key 🗝️ to archetypes is that we can immediately understand the essential character of an energy type, such as the Mother, Victim, Matry, Hero, and we all agree on their meaning. The Mother archetype 👸 is familiar to us regardless of whether we’ve felt mothered in our lives or have mothered others. 👩‍🍼 We all understand the power that is unleashed when a mother growls from the depth of her being at her child to stop them dead in their tracks before they fling themselves into the path of danger. Within that growl lies an energy so potent with unconditional and ferocious love that it triggers an immediate response from a fearless child. It’s awe-inspiring to behold. 😯

The Mother archetype is as old as humanity and has been celebrated around the world 🌎 through the goddesses of Gaia, Isis, Bast, Freya, Demeter, Juno, and Yemaya, to name a few. 🙌

Within their mythologies are what the Mother has meant to humans since the beginning of time: abundance, fertility, creativity, generosity, compassion, innovation, transcendence, stability, strength, and, when needed, fierceness. The Mother is the healer, the magician, the creator, the guide. She sustains both herself and whatever she allows into her vortex.

At the core of the Mother is the power to light up 🎆 her entire realm and hold space for people, projects, progress, and a passionate life. 💃

Here are my 3 keys 🗝️ to unlocking the Mother archetype within… 🙏

A powerful mother takes no shit ❌. She has her boundaries and enforces them with a loving artillery of compassion and strength. For the Mother, ‘tough love 🖤’ is the most transformative power there is. And she uses it on herself to do whatever she needs to expand into her greatest potential because she knows that as she rises, others will also rise. 😍

She also has tough love for those who enter her realm because her vision is to support them into their greatest potential too. 💞 The Mother understands that true ascension is not a solitary venture; it’s about the collective. The journey is easier when it’s well trodden, and the Mother prepares the way for others with her compass set for loving fierceness and soul expansion.

Here’s the thing: the tough love a mother shows in the growl that stops her child from hurting themselves (“I won’t let you do that because it will put you in danger 😧”) is the same frequency you need to manifest to become the powerful gatekeeper of a sustainable business (“I require this payment to deliver my service”).

This is about discovering the balance required to hold space for others while also holding your boundaries.

When you fiercely protect what is sacred to you (your business, family, and vision) while loving, blessing, and releasing everything and everyone that does not teach, support, or nurture you, you’ll start paving your way to radical riches on every level. 💸🙌

Energy flows where your attention goes, so take a deep dive within and reflect on what you’re putting your energy ⚡ into and if it’s something you want to expand in your life.
